This Periodic Table of the Elements shelf is designed to hold 49mm acrylic cubes representing or containing each of the elements on the periodic table (minus the radioactive elements).
The shelf measures about 40"x16" for the top piece and 34"x5" for the bottom piece and is made of 2 layers of stained Maple plywood.

Each square cutout is 50mm square and about 45mm deep.
